Ok so I guess people who read my last post got the idea that I'm dating a girl, let's clear things up. She's an old friend, who so happens to be there for me during one of my recent emotional crisis, and I'm really grateful for that. We're close friends, I think, the last time we met before the other day was almost half a year ago, on her birthday. Wanna know more come ask me!!
The past few weeks were ok, life in camp is getting boring, tiring and slow, I have almost a year left, time seemed to have gone by so fast in the past year, but I still hope time will fly so I can get outta N S!!!
Went for buffet last Sunday again, ate alot la, but don't worry, I'm not scared of being fat, cause people who are afraid of being fat will always get fat :P
Skip skip skip, until yesterday night. Booked out yesterday night, cause i took my off, 2 offs so I could attend the Aik ikai 30th anniversary. (I wrote this part on Friday, stopped cause I'm lazy =P)
(The following is written on Sunday)
Didn't do much during the day time, as with almost every bookout day, I got too few friends le, plus I hate going out and doing things alone, so ya, stayed home most of the time. Changed and went for Aik ido, but there was a bbq thing for my sec school cca group, supposed to meet them at 3, but being me, went late.. Went to downtown east to buy some durian puffs, Dion likes it, but she ate so little la. So I reached the condo at about 4?? Was it? Forgot!! And I thought, since I'm late, they must have started bbq-ing and I can just go and start eating, but guess what, nothing started yet, so sat down, talked, got generation gap la, I’m what, 5 or 6 years older than them? Ate the puffs in the function room, which was not allowed :P then went out, went the playground walked the stonepath. Helped setting up the fire, a little, hahaha, scared hot..then ate the meehoon and an otah!!! Just 1 miserable otah. Then I had to go to Aik ido, when I was leaving, all the familiar faces started pouring in, its a conspiracy la, to come when Den nis is leaving. But nevermind, I not around sure got lotsa leftovers wan, which was true in the end la!! Hahaha. So reached the Do jo, nice to see that Fu jii Sen sei is still the same, but not the same uke, the last time was Tsuchiya san, this time its Suzuki san. Both are nice people who speak english :D cause I can't speak Japanese, haha. But its unfair la..in Aik ikai, how many girls come only huh..so no point getting a guy here right?? Anyway, similar style from his two different ukes, very direct, smooth but hard though, takes skill to combine those two factors, even I can't do that la. Don't wanna say too much, if you want to know, you should have come watch. Friday class, he taught us basics, that’s about it, but in my opinion its a very good class, atmosphere and attitude wise. Cause a few of the troublemakers weren't here. After class, Nic and Wes gave me a collon stick, you know those we have but is those small circular biscuits with cream inside, they gave me one which was a long stick, bought in Japan, no wonder Suzuki san was staring, hahaha. Had dinner with them after that.
Saturday, went to lunch with my family, booked a hotel room, so can shop at orchard, haha, no la, cause we have a free 1 night stay. But I didn't shop nor stay, went to take a nap after lunch, overslept, rushed down, it started to rain...ran to the bus stop to take a bus to sa fra. Went early to help decorate the dinner room, which was to blow 20 balloons, tiring work la!! And I don’t know how to tie the balloons, so alot of times can hear the "ppppwwwwwffftttt" sound, hahaha. Went for a walk after that, happened by the pole dancing and yoga class, I wanna join la!! Hahaha, who says only girls can dance for guys :D I also wanna please my partner ma. Anyway Mom and Dad was like very late la!! Everyone was waiting for them to start the celebration. Planned to sit near the food but they relocated me nearer to the stage, but its ok cause I hit my third round of food when some were still on their first :P after that had a quiz and a sudoku game, heh, not trying to show off but i won both games for my table la, especially the sudoku, people were like :"so fast!!" Hahaha. Really not bragging la, cause my Mom and I combined wan la. Then there was the lucky draw, I wasn't lucky enough la, three of the prizes, I wanted lo, its a do gi la!! The thick wan some more. Ate a little more before going home alone, whole family slept at the hotel.
Oh ya, this entire 30th anniversary, I wore my veteran gi la, the ones which accompanied me to Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Hongkong.
Will post today's (Sunday) and Monday’s happenings tomorrow.
